Introduction:
Are you safe? Are you saved? Are you blessed? are all good questions which require an answer. At this point the book of Revelation is very helpful if we are:
Prepared to listen
(1) “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near” (Rev. 1:3).
Prepared to keep, to persevere, to persist
(2) “Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book” ((22:7).
Prepared for a journey (exodus)
(3) “Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed” (16:15).
Prepared to take action
(4) “Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates” (22:14).
Prepared for a funeral
(5) “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on” (14:13).
Prepared to live (cf. John 11:25)
(6) “Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power….” (20:6). (No condemnation, Rom. 8:1)
Prepared for a wedding
(7) “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb” (19:9).
If we take these blessings to heart, we are blessed indeed. See B-M on Revelation, p.339 on 22:14.
The Seven ‘No Mores’ of Revelation
No more sea (21:1), death, mourning, weeping, pain (Rev. 21:4) curse (22:3) and night (22:5).

The seven S’s: no sin, no Satan, no scoffers, no sadness or sorrow, no sickness, no separation, no suffering.
